Overview

Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka was founded durring the late 15th century in spring of the year 1373, by Litofera Dyënm. The establishment of Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka is buildings are arranged within a network of restrictive gravel streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka's top tier civilian fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are reading. The entire town feels like a library, with those not reading remaining quite to not disturb those who have their nose in a book. The longer you remain in Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka the more you start to wonder if you’ve entered some strange open-concept University rather than a town, but you can’t quite say such with certainty.

History

A vast influx of newcomers over the last (16693 % 6)+1 years has greatly spiked Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka's population. They may have been drawn by economic opportunities, or fled some pursuing peril, or been forcibly moved there by a ruler who wanted to dilute the existing native cohesion. The natives may not have the resources or opportunities to integrate these newcomers, and it may be that the new population has no desire to stay longer than is necessary.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Nejjùjqùke Basin was struck by a drought when Mere Ozero grew too small to continue feeding Waterway Petrobury, which reduced the available water supply nationwide, but was especially harsh in the area arround Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka. As the neighboring regions had no water so spare, Khěv Qovwě Birěkhka lost 124 people, and 320 livestock in the disaster.. The drought lasted for 6 weeks, which are remembered as the Grieving Thirst.
